Just a note... Make you sure you unhook both the gas line and the vacumn line from the petcock and unhook the speedo cable from the transmission. When you lift, be gentle, but firm and work it past the petcock. Once the tank is above the petcock (a few slight twists will be neccessary) Pull up and back on the front of the tank. Once off, then unhook the wiring harness and go at whatever you were going to go after.
